Deciding to change careers, I wanted/needed to update my computer skills. I was enrolled in Basic Computer Skills and then Workplace Computer Skills. PICS keep classes small to focus on your learning and as a result we were able to get a lot of one-to-one help. The instructor is patient and knowledgeable. I was able to cover Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel. I learned a lot in a short time and feel much more confident. A lot of what I learned will allow me to save time and effort. I really enjoyed the WHMIS and Customer Service Fundamentals Training. The sessions were well-organized, clear, and practical. The trainers were professional, engaging, and supportive throughout the course. I now feel more confident in my understanding of workplace safety and in delivering excellent customer service.
